Over the years I’ve practiced at multiple studios in a wide range of styles, both heated and unheated, as well as breath and meditation practices. I’ve been inspired by many amazing instructors all across Virginia.
My preferred yoga styles are Vinyasa and Gentle - Vinyasa to invigorate, strengthen, and activate the part of us that’s always striving to improve and chase the next big adventure, and Gentle to find ease, relax, and nurture contentment in the here and now.
In my classes you can expect levity as I encourage you to not take yourself or me so seriously - we’re all just humans sharing space, so let’s do some yoga! While alignment is a special focus I am interested in, it will always be tailored to students' unique needs and my students always have the option to utilize or to ask for variations that suit their bodies and situation better. Your practice is here to serve you, not the other way around.
