Gentle Yoga is a slower paced Hatha practice perfect for those who prefer a more relaxed experience in the studio, or those who may be recovering from injury or intense workout. This practice includes Pranayama, or breathing exercises, gentle movement following the breath, and a short meditation during Savasana at the end of class. This practice is designed to gently improve mobility, release stress, and relax.

This class is open to all levels of experience.

This class is hosted at Transformation Fitness Gym in Yorktown, Virginia. Gym membership is required to attend.

Garret Roberts has been teaching yoga for two years, and has been practicing for over 15. Garret is inspired by creative and dynamic flows and has learned from amazing instructors at various studios in Virginia. He graduated from a 200HR YTT in 2023 and has since completed several continuing education courses and workshops. He teaches vinyasa and gentle classes with a focus on self-guidance, alignment, and acceptance.
